KYC/B (Know your Customer/Business) Lead
Wolt License Services (WLS) is seeking a KYC/B (Know Your Customer/Business) Lead to oversee customer due diligence processes for both business and personal customers. As a licensed payment and e-money institution, WLS manages merchant payment flows across 22 markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) standards. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of WLS's operations.
The KYC/B Lead will be responsible for managing activities related to customer due diligence, including onboarding, ongoing and enhanced due diligence, customer risk scoring, and vendor management for technical capabilities. They will serve as the subject matter expert for KYC and KYB, leading policy implementations, monitoring industry best practices across the EU/EEA, and supporting tooling enhancements. Additionally, the role involves providing functional guidance to operational teams, maintaining oversight of the customer risk landscape, preparing regular reports to senior management, and acting as the primary escalation point between WLS and its customer onboarding teams.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field, along with over six years of experience in financial crime prevention within financial services, preferably in a payment or e-money institution. A strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, EU/EEA regulatory frameworks, and best practices for customer due diligence is essential. Experience in developing technical capabilities and procedures for customer onboarding and due diligence, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, are required. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also important.
