Land Development Project Engineer

Benesch is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer to join our team in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This role involves planning and designing civil site and land development projects for a diverse clientele, including municipal, public, and private sectors. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of our civil site/land development group and play a key role in building client relationships.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring the development of high-quality engineering documents, and adhering to internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking. The Project Engineer will also serve as a technical specialist or advisor on other projects as needed and mentor junior staff.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a proven track record of adhering to design budgets and schedules. The ability to work effectively in a team environment is also required.
