Land Surveyor
Benesch is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our Wisconsin Division, contributing to our Civil Engineering team. This role involves conducting field data collection, preparing survey drawings, and collaborating with both internal and external clients. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with office locations available in Madison, Milwaukee, or Neenah, Wisconsin.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Project Manager to determine survey requirements and executing surveys in accordance with standards and contract specifications. The role also involves researching records, performing calculations, analyzing measurements for property locations and legal descriptions, overseeing final plat preparation, and ensuring quality control throughout the survey process.
The ideal candidate will possess a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification in the State of Wisconsin and have over 10 years of surveying experience. A background in Survey & Geomatics, Survey Technology, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in drafting plats, boundary calculations, and experience with WisDOT environments, particularly using Civil3D, are highly desired. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse project teams are essential.
