Law Firm Partner - Employment Law
The firm is seeking a seasoned Employment Law Partner to lead and manage Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims within their employment law practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable mid-sized California firm, providing strategic oversight and representation in complex employment litigation matters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing PAGA claims, including class action-style lawsuits, ensuring strategic development, legal filings, and representation in settlement negotiations or trials. Responsibilities also include monitoring and managing discovery processes, working with teams to gather evidence, deposing key witnesses, and preparing for hearings or trials.
The ideal candidate must possess a valid California law license and be a member in good standing with the State Bar of California. Defense-side experience is required, along with comprehensive knowledge of class action and PAGA litigation. Trial experience is preferred.
The firm offers a competitive salary range of $230,000 to $300,000, depending on experience, with potential for quarterly bonuses based on billable hours.
