Lead Data Analyst
Chime is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to drive forecasting for key growth and revenue drivers, delivering insights that shape business decisions. This role involves owning end-to-end forecasting workstreams such as member growth, purchase volume, deposit volume, and intramonth performance tracking, while partnering closely across Analytics, Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Investor Relations.
Key responsibilities include building, maintaining, and improving forecasting models that are accurate, transparent, and scalable; running intramonth pacing, variance, and sensitivity analyses to identify key drivers and surface risks/opportunities early; developing scenarios and "what-if" analyses to support planning and real-time decision-making; and owning unit economics and profitability analytics, including LTV/CAC, ROI analysis, and framework development for evaluating product and growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience in forecasting, finance analytics, strategic finance, or a similar quantitative role, preferably in fintech, payments, or consumer financial services. They should demonstrate the ability to own forecasting end-to-end and deliver decision-driving insights to senior stakeholders, possess strong modeling instincts, excellent communication skills, expert SQL proficiency, and proficiency in Python or R.
The base salary for this role ranges from $152,000 to $210,000, with full-time employees also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
