The Lead Data Engineer at Eve will be responsible for designing and building the company's data warehouse architecture from the ground up. This role involves developing and maintaining reliable ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data across core business systems, including CRM, product, billing, and marketing platforms. The engineer will define and implement core business data models to standardize measurements of pipeline, conversion, revenue, customer health, and attribution.

Key responsibilities include establishing data quality, governance, and monitoring practices to ensure accuracy and reliability across the data stack. The Lead Data Engineer will create cross-functional intake and prioritization processes for data requests, balancing infrastructure work with business needs. Additionally, the role involves selecting and managing Eve's data stack, including warehouse, orchestration, transformation, and BI tooling, as well as laying the foundation for product analytics and behavioral event tracking across Eve's platform.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience building a data warehouse and core data infrastructure from scratch at a high-growth SaaS or technology company. Deep expertise in data engineering, including data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and warehouse architecture, is essential. Strong proficiency with SQL and modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, dbt, and Airflow is required. Experience integrating and modeling data from GTM systems like CRM, marketing automation, billing, and customer success platforms is also necessary.

Eve offers a competitive salary and equity package, with a US base salary range of $280,000 to $315,000 annually.
