Plaid is seeking a Lead Legal Operations Manager to enhance and manage the systems, processes, tools, and budget supporting its legal and compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Legal, this role involves overseeing the legal and compliance team's technology strategy, budget management, vendor relations, data analytics, and other cross-functional initiatives. The position is based at Plaid's San Francisco headquarters.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the legal and compliance team's technology strategy, with a focus on integrating AI tools like Claude for Legal and Harvey into daily workflows. The role also involves managing the legal budget, including billing operations and outside counsel expenditures, and establishing guidelines in platforms such as Brightflag. Additionally, the Lead Legal Operations Manager will build dashboards to monitor team performance and collaborate with the Head of Commercial Legal on reporting to leadership.

The ideal candidate should have over seven years of experience in legal operations within a high-growth company, including direct experience in contracting operations. Strong program management, cross-functional leadership, and people management skills are essential. Expertise in administering a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, particularly Ironclad, and experience with legal-focused AI tools are highly desirable.

Compensation for this role ranges from $190,080 to $237,600 per year, with additional equity opportunities. Plaid offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
