Lead Systems Engineer - Weapon Integration
As a Lead Systems Engineer specializing in Weapon Integration at Helsing, you will spearhead the integration of diverse weapon systems into advanced aerial platforms. You will develop and manage the weapon integration roadmap from concept definition through flight testing and final qualification, collaborate with internal design teams to oversee physical and functional integration, author technical specifications and interface control documents, and provide technical mentorship to engineering teams.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering and possesses significant experience in the aerospace or defense industry, with a focus on weapon systems integration. A comprehensive understanding of the full engineering lifecycle, hands-on experience integrating various weapon types onto aircraft, in-depth knowledge of mission systems and avionic architectures, proficiency with engineering tools for requirements management, modeling, and simulation, and excellent communication skills are essential.
