As a Lead Technical Recruiter at SeatGeek, you will oversee the full lifecycle of hiring for complex and high-visibility technical positions, including senior and staff-level engineers, data and machine learning specialists, product managers, and designers. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to develop sourcing strategies from scratch and build playbooks that the rest of the team will use. You will collaborate closely with R&D and Product leaders to determine role scopes and identify the right talent to drive the company's growth.

Your key responsibilities will include managing intricate technical and product searches from initiation to closure, developing sourcing strategies through market mapping and competitive research, and advising on compensation and offer strategies to attract top talent. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior engineering, data, and product leaders, shaping role scopes, interview designs, and hiring strategies. Additionally, you will mentor recruiters and sourcers, sharing best practices and elevating the team's performance.

To be successful in this role, you should have over eight years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience, including hiring for senior and staff-level individual contributor roles at a rapidly growing technology company. A deep understanding of engineering, data and machine learning, product, and design domains is essential, along with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and building pipelines without relying on inbound or agency methods. Proficiency with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ModernLoop is required, as is the ability to influence stakeholders and make data-driven decisions.
