Role Overview The Legal Administrative Assistant provides critical support to attorneys and legal assistants by managing documentation, communication, and administrative tasks that ensure the smooth handling of personal injury cases. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with numbers and office software. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit non-legal forms to insurance companies and medical providers.
Request police reports, 911 phone calls, and body camera footage.
Review and categorize incoming documents related to client cases.
Conduct criminal background searches.
Request and review updated medical logs, liens, and documentation.
Assist attorneys and legal assistants in gathering information and evidence to establish valid claims.
Communicate with insurance companies and medical providers to support client advocacy.
Complete case-related tasks as requested by attorneys or legal assistants.
Assist the records department with invoice processing and document uploads.
Perform billing ledger data entry and verification.
