Legal & Compliance, Client Protection Associate, Immediate Starter
AlphaSights is seeking a Legal & Compliance Associate to join our high-performing global Client Protection team. This team collaborates closely with our core service delivery teams to ensure clients receive services that meet the highest compliance standards, supporting AlphaSights' rapid commercial growth. The role is based in San Francisco, with an immediate start date in 2026.
In this position, you will monitor active projects to identify and mitigate potential risks, provide guidance to delivery teams, and develop and implement new policies and compliance products. Responsibilities also include anticipating business roadblocks, training employees, and offering daily advice to our delivery teams. The role requires quick and critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials and notable extracurricular leadership. Preferred qualifications include 1-2.5 years of work experience in related fields such as law, risk management, consulting, operations, or compliance, though recent graduates with high potential are also encouraged to apply. A minimum GPA of 3.5 and fluency in written and spoken English are essential; proficiency in a relevant foreign language is a plus.
The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Benefits include 17 vacation days, 10 company holidays, an end-of-year break between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) match of 4% of total compensation. The San Francisco office offers state-of-the-art amenities, with the option to work from home each Friday and four additional days per quarter.
