Blacklane is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Berlin, reporting directly to the General Counsel. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic and commercial objectives within the dynamic mobility services industry.

The Legal Counsel will serve as a trusted advisor to the General Counsel and executive leadership, aligning legal and regulatory priorities with Blacklane's business goals. Key responsibilities include providing legal guidance on product compliance, go-to-market strategies, and drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements. The role also involves developing scalable legal tools and overseeing regulatory compliance matters, including managing relationships with key regulators.

The ideal candidate will have admission to practice law in an EU member state or membership in a U.S. state bar, with a minimum of three years of relevant legal experience. They should possess the ability to provide legal and regulatory guidance on transportation matters, proactively identify associated risks, and offer clear, practical advice to business stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential.
