The Legal Counsel position at Bosch Group involves supporting the Bosch Home Comfort division in North America. This role focuses on managing litigation and disputes, while also providing guidance on various legal matters within the company. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong judgment and practical problem-solving skills, capable of operating independently while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and outside counsel.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of litigation, such as commercial disputes and product liability claims, by developing and implementing litigation strategies and managing outside counsel, including budgeting and case management. The role also entails providing legal advice on commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, marketing, and regulatory compliance, assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures, delivering legal training to business clients, and handling other assigned legal matters.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Texas. A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, including significant time at a reputable law firm, is required. In-house experience is strongly preferred, particularly in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or related industries. Experience with product liability and commercial litigation is essential. The role demands a strong understanding of litigation strategy, discovery management, and risk assessment, along with excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. The ability to translate legal issues into practical business guidance and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is crucial. A team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach are also important.
