Legal Counsel (Contracts)

Eqvilent is seeking a Legal Counsel (Contracts) to join their Legal & Compliance team. This remote position involves providing legal support across commercial, technology, and HR departments, ensuring the company's operations adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with counterparties across diverse jurisdictions, manage the entire contract lifecycle, and guide internal teams on standard form documents and templates. Additionally, you will maintain and organize the contract repository, prepare management reports, and perform quality control reviews of Legal and Compliance documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law, with a Master's degree being a plus, and 2-4 years of experience in a contract department of a reputable in-house company or international law firm. Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks across different jurisdictions is essential. Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify risks and provide business-aligned solutions are also required.
