Dubizzle MENA is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its dynamic team in Cairo, Egypt. The Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in ensuring legal compliance and offering strategic legal guidance across various facets of the business.

In this role, the Legal Counsel will collaborate closely with the General Counsel to manage complex legal matters and projects. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, advising on corporate legal processes such as intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance issues, and representing the company in legal proceedings. Additionally, the Legal Counsel will develop company policies, anticipate legal risks, and guide managers to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Law or an equivalent certification, with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar legal role. Experience in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) law, including data privacy, telecommunications, strategic sourcing, and IT advisory matters, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
