Legal Counsel

Midas is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its rapidly expanding team in Istanbul, Turkey. As Turkey's first zero-commission stock trading platform, Midas has transformed investing by delivering a seamless experience for everyday investors. With over 3.5 million users and backed by an $80 million Series B funding, Midas is scaling faster than ever.

In this role, the Legal Counsel will develop processes aligned with MASAK, SPK, and other regulatory authorities to ensure the company's compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, managing legal processes with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing risks, and providing solutions. The position also involves revising company policies and procedures to enhance compliance and ethical standards, as well as collaborating with teams to provide legal support on product development, compliance, and customer relations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience at a brokerage or investment firm, with knowledge of SPK regulations and compliance processes. Expertise in corporate law, commercial law, capital markets law, and personal data protection law is required. Advanced experience in contract negotiation and drafting, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced proficiency in English are essential.
