Legal Counsel - Labor & Employment

This role is integral to the Law Americas Team, providing legal guidance on employment practices and compliance obligations.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for offering day-to-day legal advice to Human Resources and management on various employment matters, including federal, state, and local employment laws such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The role also involves analyzing legal developments, conducting internal investigations, and managing external counsel on litigation and administrative matters.

Candidates should possess a Juris Doctorate Degree with a license to practice law in the United States and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate or law firm setting, preferably with an international perspective. A strong knowledge of U.S. Labor and Employment laws, experience advising on employee relations matters, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
