Legal Counsel - USA

Storyblok, a leading headless content management system (CMS), is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team, focusing on operations in the Americas (AMER) region. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work with a growing company that empowers marketers and developers to create structured and consistent content across various platforms. Storyblok's clientele includes renowned brands such as Virgin Media O2, Oatly, and TomTom.

In this role, the Legal Counsel will primarily lead SaaS sales contract negotiations, including drafting, redlining, and finalizing enterprise agreements to support the AMER sales team. Additional responsibilities encompass advising on U.S. corporate, privacy, employment, and labor law matters, as well as supporting product and cybersecurity compliance initiatives. The position also involves managing legal projects independently, guiding business teams, collaborating with external counsel, and contributing to global policies and legal processes across regions.

Candidates should possess a law degree and be admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of three years of experience focusing on drafting, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts is required, with a preference for candidates with SaaS or fast-paced tech experience providing in-house support to enterprise sales teams. Strong understanding of commercial contracting, particularly in sales contracts and legal processes, is essential. Knowledge of the AMER legal framework is necessary, and familiarity with EMEA and APAC legal topics is advantageous.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $69,530 to $113,000 per year, with additional benefits such as a monthly remote work stipend, home office equipment package, home office equipment upgrade or co-working space membership, sick leave, parental leave, 25 days of annual leave plus local national holidays, personal development fund, Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), and flexible schedules.
