Legal Counsel

Visier Solutions Inc., a global leader in Workforce Intelligence, is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join our collaborative Legal team. Reporting to the Vice President of Legal, this role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance, and supporting our global expansion efforts.

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for negotiating and executing complex deals with major customers and partners worldwide. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Privacy, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Governance to align risk tolerance and compliance expectations. Additionally, the role involves managing customer contract negotiations, expanding vendor and partner portfolios, supporting research and product expansion initiatives, advising on corporate business matters, and assisting in Visier's global expansion beyond North America.

The ideal candidate is an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia with 4 to 7 years of post-call experience in corporate and commercial law. Experience in SaaS technology, cross-border transactions, technology M&A, or international privacy and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, EU AI Act) is advantageous. The candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple closings under pressure, and excellent collaboration skills to build relationships across internal teams.

Visier offers a competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $165,000 per year, plus bonus, along with top-tier health and wellness benefits.
