The Legal Data Intelligence Lead at Relativity is a pivotal role within the AI and Applied Sciences department, focusing on integrating legal expertise with advanced AI solutions to enhance data intelligence in legal workflows. This position bridges the gap between legal professionals and technical teams, ensuring that generative AI capabilities are effectively tailored to meet the needs of litigators.

In this role, the Legal Data Intelligence Lead will collaborate with applied scientists, product managers, designers, engineers, and customer enablement teams to design, build, and refine tests, benchmarks, and evaluation systems for generative AI solutions. Externally, they will engage with clients and industry professionals to explain the functionality of these AI systems and gather feedback on their performance in analyzing and classifying documents, identifying sensitive information, and curating knowledge. Additionally, the lead will develop and deliver training and documentation on legal data intelligence workflows and best practices for internal teams.

Candidates should possess a Juris Doctorate with at least 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, or equivalent experience in a legal service provider or legal technology vendor. A deep interest in leveraging generative AI to advance the practice of law and access to justice is essential. Strong communication skills are required to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both internal and external audiences. Experience with discovery or legal technology platforms and working with cross-functional teams is also necessary.

The compensation package for this position includes a competitive base salary ranging from $154,000 to $232,000, complemented by an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives. The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
