Dreem Health, a leading digital sleep clinic powered by Sunrise's technology, is seeking a Legal Director to design and scale the legal and compliance infrastructure supporting the company's next growth phase. This role offers the opportunity to lead legal strategy in a rapidly expanding digital health environment, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

The Legal Director will oversee regulatory strategy, health care compliance, corporate governance, payor contract review, maintenance of certifications and licenses across all 50 states, risk management, AI and data governance, and legal enablement. This position requires a hands-on approach to day-to-day legal and compliance work, while effectively collaborating with outside counsel on specialized matters.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, active U.S. bar admission, and a minimum of seven years of relevant legal experience. Experience in digital health, telehealth, or health-tech sectors, particularly within high-growth startup environments, is essential. Strong expertise in HIPAA/HITECH compliance, state telehealth laws, health care fraud and abuse laws, and commercial contract negotiation is required.

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience.
