Legal / Executive Administrator
The Cincinnati Development Fund (CDF) is seeking a Legal / Executive Administrator to provide essential support in managing loan closings, coordinating with external counsel, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This role also involves delivering high-level executive support and contributing to organizational governance and employee engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include coordinating loan closings by engaging counsel and title services, tracking documents and approvals, and ensuring timely completion. The administrator will review loan and real estate documents, manage closing checklists, communications, conditions, and fund disbursements to keep transactions on schedule. Additionally, the role involves assisting with drafting and reviewing governance documents, board resolutions, committee minutes, and selected contracts, as well as maintaining organized legal, business, property, contract, and regulatory records.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting legal transactions or closings, with a working knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, ethics, and records management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assignments. A professional demeanor and positive interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively across all organizational and community levels.
CDF offers a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
