LEGAL MANAGER

As a Legal Manager at ZURU, you will be an integral part of our global legal team, contributing to the company's significant growth in the U.S. and worldwide. Your primary role will involve managing litigation, regulatory, and contractual risks, ensuring that ZURU's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. This position is based in Ahmedabad, India, and offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your key responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting intellectual property license agreements, providing legal support across various departments such as marketing, sales, and product development, and advising on a broad range of legal issues including licensing, advertising, and compliance matters. Additionally, you will be involved in reviewing product development and advertising materials, coordinating with internal and external legal resources, and participating in the development of corporate policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate or LLB from an accredited law school, with a license to practice in the applicable country or state. A minimum of 8 years of experience as an attorney is required, along with experience in researching U.S. case law and providing preliminary litigation summaries. Strong contract review and drafting skills are essential, and experience in intellectual property prosecution and strategy is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business partners are also crucial.
