Legal Operations Manager
Grammarly, now part of Superhuman, is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to enhance the efficiency and scalability of its legal infrastructure. This role is integral to supporting the Legal team in its mission to operate as a strategic partner to the business. The position is based in either San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY, with a hybrid working model requiring in-person collaboration two days a week.
As a Legal Operations Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing and scaling established legal processes, focusing on data analysis, systems management, and capacity planning. Your key duties will include managing core legal technology platforms such as Ironclad (Contract Lifecycle Management) and Brightflag (legal spend and matter management), developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor contract cycle times and legal demand, and analyzing trends to inform staffing and budgeting decisions. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives across legal workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal processes with business needs.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in legal operations, business operations, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience administering and optimizing Ironclad and Brightflag in a production environment is essential. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data, metrics, and operational dashboards, are required. Experience in capacity planning, workload analysis, or resource forecasting for legal teams is also important. Effective communication with both legal and non-legal stakeholders, along with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects, is crucial.
Compensation for this role includes competitive pay, with a salary range of $91,500 to $139,300 per year.
