Legal Operations Manager
Verkada, a leader in cloud physical security solutions, is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join their expanding legal team in San Mateo, CA. This role is integral to managing the financial and operational aspects of Verkada's legal function, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across various legal operations.
The Legal Operations Manager will oversee the entire legal budget, including expenses related to outside counsel, software, professional services, headcount, and travel. Key responsibilities encompass budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and financial operations, with a focus on fiscal year planning and spend management. The role also involves managing the legal billing platform, developing dashboards for spend visibility, and driving operational initiatives to enhance the Legal team's functionality.
Candidates should have 3–8+ years of experience in legal operations, legal financial management, or a comparable in-house role. Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, spend management, and vendor oversight is essential. Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) and eDiscovery/legal hold tools is also required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
The compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually.
