Legal Process Server
ABC Legal Services is seeking a dedicated Legal Process Server to join our team. As a premier legal services company operating nationwide, we specialize in delivering legal documents to individuals and businesses involved in court proceedings. Our clients include banks and law firms, and we are governed by the courts and the rules of civil procedure. We value honesty and accuracy and are looking for organized, independent, and personable individuals to deliver legal documents in all 50 states.
In this role, you will be responsible for serving legal documents to individuals and businesses within your designated area. This involves planning efficient routes, making timely deliveries, and documenting each service attempt accurately. You will utilize our industry-leading mobile app to claim jobs, map your stops, and track your pay. Flexibility is key, as you can choose your workload and set your own service areas.
To be successful in this position, you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance. Proficiency with iPhone/iPad or Android smart devices and the ability to work within a mobile app are essential. You should be capable of scanning and printing documents and be willing to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required. Some states require you to be a Registered Process Server, and state laws vary regarding minimum age requirements. You must be legally allowed to work in the United States without work authorization.
As a Process Server with ABC Legal Services, you will benefit from a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose your workload with attempts required every 48 hours at varied times.
