Legal Process Server
ABC Legal Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Legal Process Servers. As a premier legal services company operating nationwide, we specialize in delivering legal documents to individuals and entities involved in court cases. Our clients include banks and law firms, and we are governed by the courts and the rules of civil procedure. We value honesty and accuracy and are looking for organized, independent, and personable people to deliver legal documents in all 50 states.
In this role, you will be responsible for serving legal documents to individuals and businesses within your designated area. This involves planning efficient routes, making timely deliveries, and ensuring that all service attempts are documented accurately. You will utilize our industry-leading mobile app to claim jobs, map your stops, and track your pay. The position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose your workload and work independently.
To be successful in this role, you must have your own reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance. Proficiency with iPhone/iPad or Android smart devices and the ability to work within a mobile app are essential. You should also have the capability to scan and print documents. The role requires variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Experience in process serving or related work is helpful but not required. Some states require you to be a Registered Process Server, and state laws vary regarding minimum age requirements. You must be legally allowed to work in the United States without work authorization.
