The Legal Support Specialist (Scheduling & Outreach) at ABC Legal Services plays a pivotal role in managing court hearing coverage through efficient scheduling, dispatching, and real-time coordination. This position is integral to the operations team, ensuring seamless communication between attorneys and clients, and upholding the company's commitment to reliable legal support services.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and dispatching attorneys for a high volume of daily court hearings, managing scheduling changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage gaps, and confirming assignments to ensure accurate and complete coverage. The specialist will also communicate with attorneys and clients to ensure seamless service, conduct outbound calls to schedule hearings and support client needs, track metrics, maintain scheduling data, and support reporting. Additionally, the role involves partnering with internal teams to improve processes and execution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and confidence on the phone, be highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and be solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Comfort with working toward goals and performance metrics, as well as being tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly, are also essential. While not required, individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments, are strong communicators who enjoy phone-based work, are self-starters eager to grow with a scaling company, and are team players who take initiative and solve problems proactively are preferred.
