Litigation Associate Attorney – Telecommunications

MetTel is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team in New York City. As a global communications solutions provider, MetTel offers a comprehensive suite of managed services focusing on secure connectivity, network, and mobility services. This role is integral to our legal team, focusing on litigation and collections matters arising from goods and services rendered to customers.

The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting, filing, and serving summonses and complaints, managing all phases of discovery, conducting and defending depositions, and handling court appearances. The role also involves supporting legal strategies related to the collection of outstanding receivables and maintaining organized case files to ensure compliance with court deadlines.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and be admitted to the New York State Bar in good standing. A minimum of four years of litigation experience, including 3-5 years in collections litigation, is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment, and experience in commercial litigation or telecommunications are preferred.

MetTel offers a competitive salary up to $75,000 annually, reflecting the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets.
