Litigation Counsel (California)

Scale LLP, a modern, fully distributed law firm, is seeking a midlevel attorney to join our growing litigation practice. As a Litigation Counsel, you will support clients in the sports, recreation, hospitality, resort, and adventure industries, including ski resorts, mountain bike parks, hotels, venues, equipment manufacturers and retailers, and industry trade associations. Your work will involve complex liability, catastrophic injury, risk management, and employment matters, providing exposure to a diverse range of legal challenges.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in civil litigation. You should be licensed to practice in California and possess strong legal writing skills, including experience drafting dispositive motions and other substantive motions. The ability to independently manage significant portions of a case, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify issues and solutions is essential.
