Litigation Paralegal
Pracht Injury Lawyers is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our Charleston office, supporting Attorney Kerrison Schmutz. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will manage personal injury litigation cases from post-intake through resolution. Your responsibilities will include drafting complaints, e-filing documents, organizing materials for litigation processes such as mediations and depositions, and preparing settlement documentation. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, providing empathetic support, and ensuring clear communication throughout the legal process. Additionally, you will proactively manage attorney calendars to ensure all deadlines are met and support in-office activities, including client meetings and deposition preparations.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal focusing on personal injury cases. Proficiency in e-filing, drafting complaints, and organizing complex litigation materials is essential. Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication skills are necessary to build trust and maintain relationships with clients. A professional demeanor and the ability to work independently within the firm's workflows are also important. Experience supporting minors’ settlement matters or cases involving children is preferred.
