The successful candidate will support attorneys in civil litigation, personal injury, and construction defect matters, contributing to the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.

In this position, the Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys with drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing motions and supporting documents, and managing trial preparations, including coordinating witnesses and organizing trial exhibits. Additional duties include obtaining and reviewing medical records, calculating damages, and maintaining routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status and preparation.

The ideal candidate will possess a paralegal certification and have 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably with exposure to Washington state litigation. A solid understanding of civil litigation procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are also required.

Tyson & Mendes offers a competitive compensation package, including an hourly pay range of $30-$40, overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate, and eligibility for an annual bonus.
