Litigation Paralegal
Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Orange County, California. The firm is known for its commitment to protecting clients from "Nuclear Verdicts®" and has a strong presence across the United States.
In this role, the Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in civil litigation, personal injury, and construction defect matters. Key responsibilities include assisting with case management, drafting and proofreading legal documents, organizing and managing large volumes of records, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in civil litigation, insurance defense, or personal injury matters. A paralegal certification is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
The compensation package includes an hourly pay range of $35-48, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5× the regular hourly rate as needed. Paralegals are eligible for an annual bonus ranging from $250-$3,000 and receive a monthly technology reimbursement of $60. Comprehensive benefits coverage is offered, including plans available at zero employee cost, with an average annual employee contribution for health/vision/dental coverage ranging from $700-$1,700. Employees also benefit from a 401(k) program with a 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the following 4-5%.
