Machine Learning Operations Engineer

OPSWAT is seeking a Machine Learning Operations Engineer to join our Technology Development Centre in Veszprém, Hungary. This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced AI-driven cybersecurity solutions that protect critical infrastructure worldwide. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team dedicated to building reliable, scalable, and efficient machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.

The primary responsibilities include building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and data workflows, automating and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of these models from training to deployment and monitoring, and developing infrastructure to support scalable, reproducible model training and serving in cloud or on-premise environments. Additionally, the role involves monitoring model performance in production, detecting model or data drift, implementing alerting systems, and collaborating with data scientists and DevOps engineers to operationalize machine learning models and integrate them into products.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or ML Engineering, with strong programming skills in Python and Bash. Experience with machine learning frameworks for training and serving (e.g., Ray, SageMaker jobs), monitoring tools for production ML systems (e.g., TensorBoard, Datadog, Streamlit), and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket pipelines, TeamCity) are essential. Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow), and a solid understanding of the ML model lifecycle, versioning, and reproducibility are also required.
