Manager, Business Development
As a Manager of the Business Development Team supporting North America, you will be responsible for leading and driving the business development initiatives in this region. Your primary focus will be to expand our partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and support revenue generation across multiple markets. This role will involve managing a team, collaborating with global customers, and strategically encouraging new business relationships.
Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Business Development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success. You will develop and implement strategies to expand Canva's presence in the North American region, aligning with the company's overall goals. Additionally, you will identify and encourage strategic partnerships and business opportunities that drive growth and revenue, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and analyze market trends to provide insights and recommendations for business expansion and product development.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in business development, with a consistent record of success in the North American region. Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is essential, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A strategic problem solver who can work in a fast-paced, global environment is desired. Experience in the technology, SaaS, or a related industry is also required.
