Manager, Center of Excellence
is seeking a Manager for its Center of Excellence (CoE), a pivotal internal team that showcases the company's revenue intelligence platform by utilizing it for their own operations. This role is integral to Gong's Go-To-Market (GTM) Operations and AI Acceleration teams, focusing on instance governance, workflow design, product feedback, and early adoption of new Gong capabilities. The position is available in multiple locations, including Austin, Chicago, New York City, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco.
In this role, the Manager will oversee and execute CoE projects across five key areas: instance governance, GTM process design and optimization, product feedback and roadmap influence, customer zero and revenue enablement, and AI acceleration for the GTM function. Responsibilities include building and maintaining governed workflows in Gong, managing projects with product and cross-functional teams, serving as an early adopter and tester for new Gong products, developing referenceable assets, contributing to the CoE's quarterly perspectives, and driving instance governance standards.
Candidates should have prior experience using Gong as an end user or administrator, with 3-5+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related GTM function, particularly in SaaS environments. A proven track record of independently managing projects from scoping through execution is essential. Strong technical aptitude is required, including familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, various LLMs, and workflow or automation tools; experience with tools like Retool, Snowflake, or agent-building platforms is advantageous. A data-driven mindset, strong written communication skills, and the ability to operate with ambiguity in a small team with a large mandate are also important.
