Manager Chargeback Recovery
Topstep, a leading financial technology company specializing in trader education and funding, is seeking a Manager of Chargeback Recovery to oversee and enhance its chargeback operations. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of Topstep's financial processes, ensuring that chargeback cases are managed effectively and in compliance with industry standards.
As the Manager of Chargeback Recovery, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the end-to-end execution of chargeback representment and recovery operations. Your daily responsibilities will include managing the chargeback queue, developing and implementing routing protocols, balancing workloads, and ensuring adherence to deadlines. You will also oversee the relationship with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners, holding them accountable to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Regular performance reporting to leadership, staying current on card network chargeback rules, and serving as the primary escalation point for complex cases will also be key aspects of this role.
Ideal candidates will have over four years of experience in payments, fraud, dispute, or chargeback operations, with at least two years in a leadership role. A deep understanding of card network dispute rules, including the CE 3.0 framework, is essential. Proven leadership skills, experience managing BPO relationships, and proficiency in pre-dispute platforms are highly desirable. Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication are crucial for success in this position.
Topstep offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $100,000 to $107,500, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
