Manager, HR Technology
is seeking a Manager, HR Technology to lead the configuration, administration, and optimization of its HR technology ecosystem, with Workday as the core Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role involves direct system configuration, integrations, reporting, and delivery, along with leadership of senior HRIS specialists. The position is based in Tysons, Virginia, and supports a technology-driven organization of approximately 2,000 employees.
Key responsibilities include owning and administering the HR technology stack, serving as the primary product owner for HR systems, managing configurations, upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships. The role also involves partnering with IT on system security, data privacy, infrastructure requirements, and AI-related risk controls. Additionally, the Manager will lead system implementations, enhancements, process automation initiatives, and develop system governance standards and change management practices.
The ideal candidate will have 8-12+ years of progressive HRIS or enterprise systems experience, including 3-5+ years leading HRIS professionals or technical specialists. Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM is required, along with familiarity with AI-enabled HR system capabilities and intelligent automation concepts. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a bachelor's degree in information systems, HR, business, or a related field are also required.
