Manager, Legal Finance & Strategy
Netflix is seeking a Manager for its Legal Finance & Strategy team in Los Angeles. This role involves collaborating closely with the Business Affairs and Labor teams to support strategic initiatives and negotiations by providing comprehensive analyses and insights. The team plays a pivotal role in content deal negotiations, guild agreements, and talent remuneration analysis. The Manager will lead support and analysis for U.S. projects, with opportunities to engage in international projects.
Key responsibilities include leading strategy, analysis, and negotiation support for Content Business Affairs, developing strategic frameworks for Legal and Labor initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders across the company to align on strategic and operational initiatives. The role also involves conducting ad hoc analyses to support deal negotiations, creating presentations to summarize analytical work, and developing a deep understanding of Netflix and broader market trends to inform internal discussions.
Candidates should have over six years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, hedge funds, or internal strategy roles, with a preference for experience in Media/Entertainment and Deal Analysis. Strong analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication, and proficiency in financial modeling are essential. A commitment to inclusion and cross-cultural understanding is also important.
The compensation for this role ranges from $230,000 to $370,000 annually. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off, while salaried employees are entitled to flexible time off.
