As a Manager (Mensch) Media Strategy Aviation at WPP Media, you will be responsible for planning and executing digital campaigns tailored to the aviation sector. This role involves developing strategic recommendations based on market and usage trends to effectively meet client objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of digital initiatives from planning to finalization, collaborating closely with channel experts in Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and E-Commerce. You will analyze media usage and market trends to derive actionable insights for placements, formats, and targeting strategies. Additionally, you will manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate with vendors for special advertising formats, and work with the investment team to ensure optimal conditions for clients. Budget forecasting and allocation for digital campaigns will also be under your purview.
The ideal candidate will have a completed degree or training in marketing, media, economics, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in digital consulting or planning, whether on the client, agency, or vendor side. Proficiency with standard planning tools and a solid understanding of relevant online KPIs are essential. Strong Excel skills, a knack for numbers, and analytical thinking are required. You should be reliable, self-motivated, flexible, and team-oriented, maintaining composure under pressure. Fluency in German, both written and spoken, is a must.
