Manager, Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC)
The Manager, Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC) at Azurity Pharmaceuticals is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of the Promotional Review Committee. This role ensures that all promotional materials are reviewed efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with regulatory, medical, and legal requirements, facilitating timely commercial execution. Reporting to the Director of Medical Education, the manager collaborates closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams to drive operational excellence and maintain inspection readiness across promotional review processes.
Key responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the PMRC, such as scheduling meetings, managing agendas, and maintaining documentation. The manager coordinates the review of promotional materials across various channels, including healthcare professional communications, direct-to-consumer content, digital platforms, print media, and training materials. Additionally, the role involves ensuring clear communication of review outcomes, required revisions, and final approvals to stakeholders, as well as translating complex clinical and scientific data into clear, balanced, and compliant medical content for both internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in promotional review, regulatory affairs, medical affairs operations, or compliance within pharmaceutical or biotech organizations. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for advanced degrees such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or MS in life sciences or related fields. Experience in supporting or managing Promotional Review Committees is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with FDA promotional regulations, Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) guidance, and advertising and promotion standards.
