Manager, Revenue Data
Wolt is seeking a Manager, Revenue Data to join our Finance team, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of our revenue subledger. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of revenue data and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. The position is based in Berlin, Germany, or Budapest, Hungary, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding company operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries.
The Manager, Revenue Data will lead the continued implementation of our revenue subledger, owning the roadmap and rollout timelines in alignment with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include managing processes with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and other Accounting process owners to collect and implement accounting requirements related to revenue data flow. The role also involves leveraging AI tools to accelerate data analysis, automate routine reconciliation tasks, and draft documentation, as well as driving proactive process improvement and automation across revenue data lineage. Additionally, the manager will prepare and review deliverables for external audit review and testing, and SOX control documentation for internal audit teams.
Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in revenue accounting, finance, data analytics, or a related area. Experience leading or mentoring direct reports is essential, as the role includes managing one direct report with expectations to set clear direction, provide regular feedback, and help develop their skills. Strong knowledge of IFRS 15/accounting principles is required, with US GAAP and SOX experience considered a plus. Proficiency in SQL and the ability to work with large volumes of transactional data are necessary, along with active, proven usage of AI tools in day-to-day work. Experience with NetSuite, Snowflake, Looker, and dbt is preferred, as is experience in the gig economy or marketplace companies. Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the EU are also required.
