Manager, Solutions Engineering | NorBen | Remote
Grafana Labs is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering for the NEMEA region to lead and develop a high-performing team of presales Solution Engineers. This role involves collaborating with sales, product management, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to drive the adoption and expansion of Grafana's open-source and cloud observability products. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Netherlands or Sweden.
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of Solution Engineers, ensuring they are equipped to support sales initiatives and customer programs. You will partner with sales leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback, and oversee the delivery of technical demonstrations, trials, and proofs of value. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing to drive community engagement and adoption programs within the region.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including roles such as Developer, Architect, or Sales Engineer. Proven success in leading teams within a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment is essential. Experience with open-source selling, cloud-first product-led sales strategies, and formal sales methodologies like MEDDPICC is highly desirable. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in a second European language is preferred.
Compensation for this role varies by location. In the Netherlands, the on-target earnings (OTE) range is €145,000 to €172,000 annually, while in Sweden, the OTE range is SEK 1,480,000 to SEK 1,775,000 annually.
