Managing Counsel, Commercial - Partnerships
Remote is seeking a seasoned and business-oriented commercial lawyer to join their Employment, Product, and Commercial Legal sub-team as a Managing Counsel - Partnerships. This senior individual contributor role focuses on delivering pragmatic and innovative legal solutions for Remote's products and stakeholders while mitigating unacceptable risks. The position is fully remote, allowing professionals from various locations to apply.
In this role, the Managing Counsel will primarily support global partnership deals, including embedded, resell, and other channel arrangements. Additionally, the position provides critical support for the EMEA sales team, collaborating with existing EMEA sales and data protection counsel to ensure seamless regional coverage. The Legal team at Remote is composed of friendly, talented, and highly motivated lawyers from diverse backgrounds, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Candidates should have experience in structuring and negotiating strategic partnerships, including embedded, reseller, and channel agreements. Expertise in supporting commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements and global sales support, is essential. While prior HR Tech industry experience or familiarity with bespoke HR services agreements is beneficial, it is not a requirement. Strong commercial drafting skills, negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of data protection laws, especially GDPR, are critical for success in this role.
Remote offers a competitive annual salary range of $66,300 to $149,150 USD for this full-time position.
