Marketing & Events Coordinator

In this role, the coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of various events, including in-person conferences, school and partner visits, webinars, and information sessions. Key tasks involve developing event timelines, coordinating with vendors, handling registrations, organizing event materials, and overseeing on-site logistics. The coordinator also creates practical event playbooks, checklists, and timelines to ensure smooth operations and identifies potential risks early in the planning process.

Candidates should have approximately 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or project coordination. Direct involvement in organizing events such as conferences, trade shows, webinars, or school events is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or are highly valued. A background in education or EdTech is beneficial but not required.

This remote position requires up to 15–20% domestic travel to support national conferences, partner events, and occasional office visits. Travel frequency varies throughout the year, with periodic visits to the Washington, D.C. office (approximately 1–2 times annually).
