Mechanical Engineer II, Spacecraft Structures & Missions

Muon Space is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join their Spacecraft Structures & Missions team in San Jose, CA. This team specializes in customizing Muon's spacecraft platforms to meet specific customer mission requirements. In this role, you will oversee the mechanical execution of missions from start to finish, including designing payload accommodations, developing mission-specific components, and guiding the spacecraft through integration, environmental testing, and delivery to the launch vehicle. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence in the San Jose office three days per week.
