Media Planner
The Media Planner role at Chime is integral to the Media Strategy & Investment team, reporting directly to the Director of Growth Marketing. This position focuses on supporting the planning, execution, and measurement of offline media campaigns, contributing to Chime's mission of helping everyday people achieve financial progress. The role involves close collaboration with various teams, including TV/Audio leads, Brand Planners, Growth, Analytics, and agency partners, to ensure cohesive and data-driven media investment strategies.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and updating of campaign plans, calendars, and pacing trackers to monitor performance against business and media KPIs. The Media Planner will coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure accurate campaign setup, trafficking, and reporting. Additionally, the role involves supporting marketing mix modeling (MMM) and attribution workflows by gathering and organizing relevant data, maintaining reporting dashboards, and translating campaign outputs into actionable insights for the media team.
Candidates should possess 2–4 years of experience in media planning, buying, or campaign execution, with a preference for those who have worked with agencies or vendors. Familiarity with measurement concepts such as attribution, incrementality, or MMM is desirable, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are essential, as is a detail-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple workstreams and ensuring data accuracy.
The base salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $115,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses, competitive equity packages, and comprehensive benefits.
