Medical Device and Digital Health Lawyer
Axiom is seeking experienced Medical Device and Digital Health Lawyers to provide specialized legal support to a diverse range of healthcare clients. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, collaborating with innovative companies at the forefront of digital health technologies.
In this position, you will offer expert legal advice on matters such as data privacy and security, telemedicine, mobile health applications, electronic health records, artificial intelligence, and medical device regulations. Your responsibilities will include assessing and monitoring compliance with relevant laws and industry standards, developing and implementing compliance programs, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to digital health products and services.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in healthcare or technology law. A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, the HITECH Act, and FDA regulations, as well as technology-related laws concerning data protection and cybersecurity, is essential. Familiarity with digital health technologies, such as electronic health records, telemedicine platforms, wearables, and health applications, is also required. Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review within the technology and healthcare sectors is necessary.
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
