Member of Technical Staff

Red Cell Partners is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join their team, focusing on building and investing in rapidly scalable technology-led companies across healthcare, cyber, and national security sectors. This role involves operating as a builder–operator at the earliest stages of company creation, transforming ambiguous ideas into real products, prototypes, and ultimately companies.

Key responsibilities include turning loosely defined problems into concrete product directions, rapidly prototyping and validating ideas using modern AI-augmented workflows, and acting as an early engineering force for new startups. The role also entails building initial products, APIs, workflows, and prototypes that define the business, and shaping product direction alongside partners and founders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software, systems, machine learning, or similar fields, with experience building products or systems end-to-end. They should demonstrate the ability to work without clear requirements, be comfortable with rapid iteration and changing direction, and possess a natural curiosity about product and business problems.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $300,000, based on experience, skills, and other factors.
