The Merchant Compliance Administrator at Wolt plays a crucial role in ensuring that merchant information is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This position is part of the Merchant Services and Compliance Operations teams, which are dedicated to maintaining Wolt's adherence to KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) processes across all markets. The role is based in Budapest, Hungary, and offers flexibility, including full-time and part-time options, making it suitable for students with a minimum commitment of 20 working hours per week.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and validating merchant-submitted KYC/KYB documents, such as identification and business details, to ensure accuracy and completeness based on internal guidelines. The administrator will flag any missing or incorrect information for follow-up, utilize internal tools to manage and track tasks, support quality checks, and maintain high data accuracy. Collaboration with Operations, Compliance, and Product teams is essential to ensure seamless processes.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in operations, administration, compliance, data validation, or similar fields. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with structured data are crucial. Comfort with handling sensitive information, adherence to processes, and accuracy at scale are required. Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, good organizational and time management skills, and clear communication abilities are also important. Fluency in English is necessary, and additional languages are a plus. Applicants must have the right to work in Hungary. A basic understanding of legal or business documents is advantageous.
